We’ve blogged about lego before, but their “lego factory” remains one of the most fascinating examples of co-creation. In this video Mark Hansen of Lego gives a nice presentation about their projects at last years Emerce eDay. The presentation shows how advanced Lego is at engaging communities with their company. One of the things I didn’t know before watching the video is that the community produces its own journal named brickjournal. This and other examples make clear the degree to which Lego integrated their community in the company. Taken into account that this presentation was given a year ago shows that Lego is definitely one of the frontrunners in this domain.
The first minutes of the video are in Dutch, but the presentation itself is English spoken. The whole video takes you 30 minutes.
